That's all I can get out of it with my engine/prop combo and current engine throttle adjustment.

Did a bit more flying yesterday... the plane is comfortable at 75 - 80 KIAS in smooth air, max allowable continuous rpm. Did get 1000 fpm with full tanks and just me during departure to 2000 leaving the traffic pattern. Starting to feel comfortable with landings 1/2 flaps, with touchdown approx 42 KIAS.
Bob - will be interesting to see once the amphibs are rigged!!
Joe -Thanks! (At this point, the slats are just too cool to remove, maybe down the road!!)
CH750 really hits an "aerodynamic wall" above 95 mph. All you do by pushing it past that is make more cabin noise and burn more fuel.
Hi Dave,
That is pretty much exactly what I get out of mine also. It will usually show about 100 mph indicated WOT. We are at 3000 MSL so the true airspeed usually shows close to 110 mph. Also keep in mind that I do not have the slats on my 750 and you could likely get a little more speed if care to remove the slats. I think this airframe does not easily go much faster than this.
BTW, lookin’ GOOD!!
Joe
Best I've seen, while in cruise, just myself and approx 2/3 tanks is 900 FPM no flaps around the 65-70 KIAS range. The Fall to Winter weather has not been conducive to precise flight testing is really about the only thing I can tell you for sure! How is the 801?
