Canopy latch installed. Note to Zodiac builders - Do Not cut the latch lever hole on the centerline, Also, the two pre-drilled holes in the side skin just fwd. of the seat back are for the two holes you can't get to from the inside to attach the latch torque tube bearing blocks. Many of us found this out after it was all done the hard way! LZ

Just looked at the Zenith photo guide for installing the canopy latching system on the CH650LS, and it also shows the lever on the centerline.

Larry, why do you advise not to locate the latch lever on the centerline? My AMD 601XLi-B has the lever on the centerline, and it doesn't seem to be an issue. Just curious...
