To my familiarized in France for certified aircraft (Cessna, Piper, Socata, etc..) He was not authorized intallation of these batteries. They are used on motorcycles competitions. To me all batteries at risk in case of short circuit. Personally, conventional lead battery exploded in my face due to a short circuit, fortunately I received only the projection of the acid and I have not had sequelae.

It is an aerovoltz, 2 1/2 lbs. lithion ion, I have one too. but decided not to use it because they are yet to be proven. What I mean is if they short out they can burn up the aircraft like happened to Cessna. They stopped using them.
