All pieces of the update kit installed. Just rivets and touch up paint. Note: the Can-Zac birth mark on my CH750 baggage panel.

The Tie-Downs are from Princess Auto. Rules say the baggage or cargo has to be restrained from flying about the cockpit. To do that you need something to attach the cargo net to ! There are Tie-Towns on the front lower corner of the baggage area. I do think the CH701 is structurally stronger in the baggage area than the CH750.
Looks good, like the tie down points. A lot different than a 701.
I stopped drilled the original crack at 80 hrs. Then contacted Zenith for repair instructions, and recieved the "baggage fuselage doubler kit" promptly by courier (no charge). I finally got around to (I forced myself to stop flying) installing the kit as I prepared my CH750 for installation of the 1450 amphib. float kit (now 170 hrs). It is a good thing I repaired it as the "stop drilled" crack had started to spread again. The "U" shaped bracket down each side of the rear baggage panel almost cover the length of the crack (three A4 rivets in that area) but not quite so I "stop drilled" it again and put an A4 rivet in the hole... touch up paint is just like a woman's makeup, covers the flaws well.
Looks good! After seeing your original crack I assumed it would be big mess back there to fix it. Did you just stop drill the crack in the back panel and put patch on it or replace the entire baggage back?
