Jerold,
The carpet is very light, you can cut it with scissors. I also used 3/4" sheet foam to insulate and build up over the aluminum edges. I used spray contact cement to hold it all together. All from The Home Depot. The carpet comes rolled up ,it was a 6x9' piece. I think it only comes in gray. It was very time consuming but I am very happy with the end results.
