I decided to add the rubber puck "donut" system in place of the bungee on my 801. As it was designed for the 750, there were a couple of things to work out. Nothing too bad though. The biggest issue I had was engine mount clearance. In my first pic you can see how tight it is. The rubber and the aluminum disks alternate, and neither will clear the mount. So I created a spacer that can move freely on the gear, and ride between the pucks. I also turned down the aluminum disks below the spacer. Under normal operations, the amount of gear travel will be totally taken care of by the spacer. I turned down the aluminum disks just in case it ever went all the way to the stop.
