Not a thing, except mine was .040 (Edition 1) and I was doing the Editon 2 and 3 updates (increase to .063). Probably over kill and questionable if me taking factory rivets out and re-riveting made it stronger. I figured there was a reason they upgraded this area for the GW increase. The extra angle on top was added because I felt like it didn't add that much weight and I didn't feel I could bend the .063 over without making a mess and wasting a lot of aluminium trying to get it right. I would have to build a much stronger brake to do it right. Then I figured, hell I got the whole thing apart anyway, why not form a triangle with L and add some more weight. I am about to weight the angle to see how much it actually added. I hope I didn't go to far re-engineering it, and actually made it weaker. I know I made it heavier, but I can afford to loose a few pounds around the waist to make it stronger.
Just curious. What was wrong with Zenith's "Full Web" style Main Spar Doubler?
