The older float setup actually out performs the newer style 4-wheel floats in side X side comparisions. Have fun :>)

Thanks for the comments. I managed to complete the installation this week.  Tomorrow, on Saturday, we'll have the official check prior to test flights. Although this plane has been flying on floats for about 10 years, this is a new installation and we had to do it the hard way - permission for the modification, test flight program and finally inspection, if we're still floating at that time.  I managed to buy this set from a 701 owner in Finland,  which is a coincidence as we have to my understanding only 4 or 5  CH701's flying in Finland. One new homebuilt is about to fly any day now.
