The door falling on the nose and being pinned against those support poles probably saved it from additional damage.

We had some very strong winds last month. They blew all the doors off this hanger. Two of them fell on the front of the plane tearing the outboard slat off and flattened the leading edge of the left wing. There was also damaged to the spinner and nose cowl. The wind also pushed the plane back into the support columns ant got the inboard flapperons on both wings. I have all the damage repaired and am ready to paint. Should be back in the air in few weeks.
