It's been quite a process, but N904MS is better than ever. The new Jabiru is tip-top and not giving me any trouble. Few more hours locally and I will be ready for some cross country trips. I am planning on taking it down to the Florida Keys in the spring.

Chad...not much of an opinion other than how it looks.  My guess is that it is stronger and lighter, but not by much.  If I still had the old one, I doubt that I would go to the trouble to replace it.  With all that said, I do think it is way more sexy.  If you do decide to swap it out, all it takes is $ and about two hours (not counting the paint).

Mike, what do you think of new nose wheel fork?

Mike, what prop are you using now and did you determine what caused the old prop to come loose?

So far, cooling does not appear that it is going to be an issue.  JabiruUSA could do a little better on communication, but they have great information on the web and I am always able to get someone on the phone that can help.  Don't expect them to return phone calls immediately, but usually someone is available to help you out.  Every business related to aviation is having a tough time in the down economy, but JabiruUSA is holding on and for the most part doing a good job of taking care of it's customers.  I'll be happy to share what information I have or help (if I can) anyone with a Jab...just ask.

Do you mean better on the cooling Mike ?

That's great service...not many suppliers would do that. keep us informed on the differences you may experience.

Dr.

Yes, JabiruUSA was having trouble getting my original engine (the one that lost it's prop) put back together in a timely manner, so they opted to send me a stock engine with five hours that they had on hand.  I am very pleased with the situation as it already has the latest modifications and just seems to be a better engine.

Mike,

New Jabiru?  Did you have a different engine?
