I changed tires on N316JL and had to support the plane while I took the wheels and tires to where I had the proper tools to do the change over.

I changed the bungee on the main gear. I had to custom bend a wrench, and it took a day to do it. I think I would sooner sponge bath a Porcupine. Every 5 years the bungee get changed, that is why they are colour coded with stripes.

Bob,
The ATV jack looks like a good ideal. It will work better when I go to change the main gear bungees (which I'm looking forward to.

Wow - rough neighborhood you've got there.

I use an ATV style jack under the centre fuselage / cockpit section with 6"X6" blocking to lift my CH601HD. Pictures of this are in my photo ablum.
