Hi Andre & Clifford

It were two reasons why I made so long bender. The first reason was Spar Cap Angles(640-V-2-1 & 640-V-2-2) which are about 3.2m long. The second reason was my local metal material supplier, I can buy only 12m angle. It is a standard length. So, I bought it and cut into 3 parts. Right now I don't know how it works with 3.2m Alclad, but with 1.45m Rudder Spar works without problem.

Alek, I've reviewed my plans a great deal trying to figure out why you made your Bending Brake 3.6m . Could you please advise, as I'am about to make my own Bending Brake? I was going to make mine (8ft long) 2.438 meters, but want to be sure it's not too short. Looking forward to your response.

I use a local analog of 2024T3 that stronger than 6061T6. So I want get a maximun arm and power to bend Alclad.

It is 3.6m long, was made from 75x75x6mm standard metal angle, square tubes and piano hinges. The front edge of upper angle was  round off to achive R=3мм
