Bob's Never Lost A Load: Zenair Floats
I was being teased about the number of tie-downs I was putting on the crate at Zenair Midland. "No insurance on the load....add more rope & ratchet straps". This is the pre-drilled and cut kit. ..."just like my CH750 was!" Zenair sells 3 types of kits, parts only, pre-drilled & assembled (not riveted), and factory assembled & riveted. The price increases with each level of completion.

I saw several sets of floats under construction while I was at Zenair Mdland. One set was much larger than the other 1150# or 1450# set being built...2200# set? The difference between 1150# amphibs (CH701) and 1450# (CH750)amphibs is 3 inches width at the step (carried the length of the float)...both are 15 1/2 ft long. At least 2 CH750's and a CH601XLB were also spotted (no Spycam shots) currently under construction. Off to the garage to open the crate.."It's Christmas morning in June at the McDonald's" :>)
