And thanks to everyone for their wisdom and encouragement, both here and matronix, and RAA people at Lyncrest in Winnipeg Canada.
First five hours were with an instructor. He took the first half of the first flight, including the take off, slow flight, pre stall, turns and first landing. I took the stick for the remainder as he coached me through the specific charcteristics. My previous flying was two years ago in a 172. previous to that was 15 hours of Citabria time 11 years ago.
I was very happy to have an experienced pilot with me. Not that the plane handles badly, just so very differently.
Way to go Martin!!
