Should be a bit easier to change out to floats when removing the front gear. On the other hand maybe sacrificing a bungee annually is good preventative maintenance

I got lucky - the limiter splits the space (approx 2+ inch gap) between the two upper mount braces. What was your mod?

Does the limiter rod interfere with the engine mount? It does on our 912iS mounts. We had to make a mod to make it work.
