CH750 Advanced Ultra Light Aircraft (AULA) lifts off and points her nose WEST to Calgary, Alberta. A journey of 2000 miles over the rugged northern Canada wilderness in winter conditions. With the ROTAX 912S purring this CH750 has a 6 hr endurance range... it will be needed. One fuel stop in Sudbury, Ontario and 7 hrs later C-IKIM landed safely in Wawa, Ontario. A SPOT GPS PLB tracks C-IKIM position to Google Earth every 10 minutes for family & friends to follow the progress.

Exciting...Love the updates...glad everything is well. Like i said earlier if you find yourself at CYAG(Fort Frances) I'll move my 750 over and make room for yours. Enjoy the sights of Northwestern Ontario and safe flying.

C-IKIM is safe & sound in Thunder Bay, Ontario. Steady progress into stiff head winds & snow squalls.

Bob, I have no doubts about the DNA, the first time I sicked my hand close to the Engin I had a nice cut on my hand.

Bashar

As any builder will say "My DNA is in that aircraft. I must have cut myself on the sharp aluminum a couple dozen times building it". :>)

David, Bob can come to Calgary and fly the plane, it will be at his disposal and his name and finger prints will remain on the machine.

Bob,

I bet it was not easy to watch her go...when I'm done my project, I'll be in touch to see if we can get together to go fly.  You aren't that far as the CH750 flies!

Dave
