Preping the Stinson 108-3
My buddy and I (I'm in the black t-shirt if anybody was wondering what I looked like!) are prepping his Stinson for the trip. I installed the Tundra tires a few weeks ago. Figure it will cost us about 15 mph though, but makes the Stinson look much meaner! :)
Unfortunately my 750 STOL isn't ready for the trip this year as planned. Hopping to make it in with mine next year. First time for both of us. I've been waiting 29 years to go (ever since I got my pilot license) but was hoping to make it in the first time with my own plane but this is the SECOND best way to get there! LOL P.S. The cat wasn't coming!
