I have been struggling with the oil cooler myself.  I figured putting it on the aft baffle LHS would be best for me.  They come with holes on the front LHS baffle for the cabin heat and breather tube.

Yeah, thinking about it.  Problem is mine has an oil cooler on the front left upper side of the engine so I don't know if the Zen baffle are adjustable for that.  Only my top baffles are beat to ^&*( so I can rebuild those and keep the lower ones.

Well, I figure if you have a template, than I would make your own.  However i didn't and I am happy with my investment.  Baffles are pain in the rear.

Hi Paul...

Is that the baffle kit from Zen?  They look great!  What do you think... worth the cost?  My O-235 came with baffles but they are pretty beat up, so I'm thinking of either making new ones using the old ones as templates or just biting the bullet and buying the Zen kit, but it seems a tad much...  :(

I'm just at the point of fitting the lower cowling and window.  I have the Zen cowl but I've heard it might need some mods to make the carb fit properly... I'll know more when I cut the hole in the cowl for the exhaust (I have the Zen exhaust as well).  Who has more fun than plane builders!!!  :D
