I dont have a machining tool to do such nice work....not to mention years of experience in machining that I don't have...-:)

Hi Andre, it's 6082-T6. I just went to a local machine shop and asked for aluminum that would be nice to machine and this is what I got.
Easy to cut and provides good enough surface with ceramic bits but controlling the chip length is difficult at least for me resulting in those bird nests as the side product.. ;)
