heh..."round trim" - round trip I tried to write :)
Most likely the flight on Sunday was the last for this season. The lakes are getting frozen... Today in the morning there was thin ice near the shore, it was around -6C and tonight it's going to be even colder. I will probably have to remove the wings and trailer the plane 50km to the hangar for wheel conversion.
Yes, we're pretty far up north. But the climate is milder due to the Gulf Stream. It gets only down to --30..40C during winters. Last winter I flew a 700km round trim and it was -27C in the morning :)
Keep up working, David!
Are you going to put your plane on floats too?
About the landscape, Northern Minnesota as well as the areas around and north of the big lakes are pretty similar to our country. A lot of Finns used to settle in those areas. They probably felt it like home :)
Thanks, perhaps we should put together our own Zenith Boy / Girl calendar :)
Beautiful plane Ari and a great calendar picture....you got my vote !!! -:)
