These are the inside (of aluminium spring gear leg) 4130 steel axle supports. These 2 1/4"X2 1/4" plates have a 3/4"X1 1/4" "stub axle" welded in to support the aircraft weight on the skis. The centre 1/2" hole is for the 1/2" 4130 steel axle to pass through. Bolt pattern to mount these plates is the same as the MATCO axle base plates. The MATCO axle is hollow with a 1/2" ID. You drill through your spring gear leg to allow the ski axle to pass through this stub axle and attach to both side of your ski.

Measurements are in the description written on the bottom of the picture. Welded together the plate is 1/4" + the axle length of 1 1/4" = total "thickness" or length of 1 1/2" inches.
