Main ski has two connections on the front nose, a stainless tang connects to the front 1/2" bungee and a 4130 shackle connected to the extruded 3/4" "L" attaches the nose travel limit cable. Cable is 5/32" stainless (probably over-kill but that is what the Cessna manual called for). Bungee hooks are safety wired.
Front cable is tight with the CH750 tail 6" off the ground, and the rear cable is tight when front ski is tilted 5 degreees up. This is from an old Cessna install book. Higher than 5 degrees catches lots of wind while flying in cruise...at landing attitude (nose up) the ski tips are well up for snow landings.

very nice. i had to add 2  outer bungy as well to keep the tips up at cruise speed. also the cable loops need to be quite long to allow the tail to come down and not ride only on the trail end of the ski and too much pressure on the front cable.
