Instead of using the flimsy CH701 rear spar in pieces, I decided to go with the CH750 rear spar method - 2 parts riveted together ! So much better.

Hi Lawrence,
the front spar stays the same as the CH701SP but the tip will be lenghen by a 1.5 foot to 13 feet wingspan. The CH701 rear spar is habitually constructed from 5 pieces. It will be replaced by a 2 part rear spar as on the CH750. Also, the thinkness will be .032 for the whole rear spar. Better, sturdier construction.
Regards,

Norm

I gather you are more or less building a CH750 wing, but more to CH701 specs -- or is the spar, etc., also a CH750 (couldn't tell from the pics if yours is the "spliced" spar sometimes used or a whole new one...)
