CH750 Vortex Generator Tip
Builders tip from Angus Watt. Use "rolled" Masking tape to make double sided sticky vortex install tape. Position tape under lower factory hole, upper hole is used to locate / position VG. When drilling the tape keeps the VG from moving and after clecoing the upper hole you can just drill through the tape to make the lower hole. You get nervous drilling a perfect Elevator skin to position the VG's.. this steadies the process.

I told our local FAA inspector that the 750's can have VG's added and he said that as slow as it Stalls, VG's should make it Hover !!!!

Mike the VG's now come with written instructions and a drawing on placement. There is 3 different measurements forward of the spar rivet line to the rear of the VG. Model, CH701/CH750/CH801 all all diffrent. Make sure to read the instructions and use the correct measurement for your model. That locates the rear of the VG then a 90 degree line off that is picked up by the front rivet hole in the VG.

Bob, How did you know where to put the vg's? I have them, but Roger suggested flying before I install them. He said it is impossible to get them in the right location without a few test flights.
