C-IJBS new owner Mark Hagen on the left and instructor Eric Stier are about to become "close friends" flying this Rotax 912S powered CH701 to British Columbia from Kitchener. Ontario. Flight time over 4 days was 35 hrs. With only 2 hrs setup on the new Rotax 912S engine. Mark reported the engine and CH701 was flawless... using 1/2 litre of oil for the whole trip. With 40 different types on his licence, I still checked Eric out on both the CH750 (C-IKIM) and CH701 (C-IJBS).

They made a fuel stop here in Fort Frances. Wondering what they thought of North Western Ontario.

I think I was told they burned 48 litres from Wawa to here ...pretty good....glad they had a safe flight!!!
