CH801 On Hydraulic Wheel Skis
Richard Lauzon's 2012 Zenith CH801 powered by Aerosport IO-375 195 hp engine and CATO 84X44 prop. Richard and his wife Patty operate (live year round) Ten Mile Lodge www.tenmilelodge.com Today was the weekly "M&M" flight (milk & mail) to Pembroke, Ontario. It was -32C here this morning. The hydraulic wheel-skis are 3500 lb series built by Pierre Girard www.aviationpg.com The electric hydraulic pump/motor is mounted on the firewall and is the same model used for amphibian floats. Richard is too busy working his CH801 to take the time to paint it !
