CH801 On Hydraulic Wheel Skis
The hydraulic wheel-skis are 3500 lb series built by Pierre Girard www.aviationpg.com The hydraulic cylinder forces a plate under the tire to convert "straight skis". The rubber bumper on the ski rail usually is up against the end of the axle lifting the ski tip higher for tire operation...but today its -32C and the bungee is "frozen" in the ski down position.
