Just came across this nice picture the other day as I am the owner of this plane, I will set the record strait.  As mentioned the a/c is a Pegazair STOL with automatic slats (aerodynamically operated by angle of attack not speed) and full length flapperons.  This model is the Dash 100 Pegazair with extended wings with modified spars, resulting in increased all up weight from 1500 pds to 1800 pds having met all MOT requirements for the added weight and tested to around 6G stress test.  With the 0-320 engine and other mods the zero fuel weight on wheels is 959 pds, skis 1006 pds and floats 1150 pds with respective cruise speeds at 75% power of 110 mph, 105, and 100 on floats.  After 26,000 hours of flying dozens of a/c types I can say the Pegazair is the most forgiving and best performing for pleasure and bush flying that I know.

I know that most performance data is grossly over stated. Note the gross weight of 1350lbs...this owner claimed a gross of 1900 lbs on floats. With the installed 0-320 150hp I know the empty weight is probably 1150 - 1200lbs+ .... and I think it is an over weight dangerous aircraft with the 150hp installed. IMHO

I posted the picture as an example of a Zenith clone aircraft only.

Thanks for clearing up the identity of the aircraft for me.

they actually offered those wings for the 701 at one time!

A Savahna (CH701 clone) with automatic retractable leading edge slats. A 0-320-150hp engine. The owner never told me the empty weight, but claimed a 1900 lb gross weight limit.
