Flying back from Moe's Fly-in. Picture from my buddy's Stinson 108-3 (he is faster). What I wanted to see in this picture was the skis "tip up angle". This angle is set with the length of the rear check cable, as little as 1/4" difference can make a huge difference in the tip up angle .Too much angle can result in huge drag effects in flight both in airspeed and flight characteristics. After seeing this in-flight picture I am happy this my cable setup. :>)
