No, Dave, I have not. One of the upgrades of Zeniths for increased GW (float plane upgrade) included two vertical channel stiffeners for either side of the rear baggage panel which probably also solved that problem. Since the previous builder of my project had already riveted that panel into position, it was very difficult to get either a hand riveter or pneumatic riveter up to the top of that panel to install the channeling. So I did the next best thing. An A&P is of opinion that my diagonal stiffener should keep those corners from tearing.
Bill, I've heard of this issue on the first edition models, are you aware of continuing issues (cracking) on later editons?
