Bringing home the engine core. It is a hybrid engine, 64 case with 65 heads/cylinders. Not the usual oreder of building but the engine takes up a lot less room then an airframe so it mkes a good starting point for the project. Plans are to do the 3000cc upgrade with Falcon heads and Roy's Garage 5th bearing and of course all of the FlyCorvair conversion parts. Got a better core then most as this is a clean engine out of a running automobile, not a greasy mess from a rusted out hulk in an overgrown junkyard. The engine was swapped out due to low compression but the rebuild will cover that problem quite throughly. Will be taking the core to Corvair Collage #19 for disassembly and inspection.
