Yes, I've looked at several of the 5th bearings and before I complete my engine one of them will be on it.

Don't know if you are familiar with this, but the 5th bearing unit from Roy Saravinski is worth looking into. You can see his stuff @ www.roysgarage.com . There are other 5th bearing systems as well, but I saw Roy's last spring & though this is just my opinion, I think he has the best one. He thru-bore aligns the bearing to your case & crank at his shop.
