Jimmy - Smell of hot oil with almost immediate heavy smoke filling cockpit. While venting the smoke and deciding where to point the airplane I started viewing instrumentation and noted zero oil pressure. The engine gave me a little less than 1 minute and 50 seconds of total run time with about 1 and 1/2 minutes of useful thrust. And...agree, worked out pretty well, all things considered.
That worked out pretty well for you, all things considered. What was the first indication of your problem while in flight, low oil pressure? Good job on flying the plane.
