Here is the low down on some of the "custom" touches.

  • One of the seats (pilot) was from Czech Aircraft Works when they made Zenith accessories. The other seat is my "tall guy guest" seat from an auto parts store.
  • The stick grips are from "Flight Grips" in Oregon with some custom buttons.
  • The flaps handle is the "Kube Kontrol" from Quality Sports Planes.
  • Grove landing gear with gun-drilled brake lines.
  • Landing lights are PIAA fog lamps from a Jeep.
  • Door frame handles are wrapped in "Rescue Tape" to make them "soft touch"
  • Dashboard and panel are covered in textured "PlastiDip" 
  • Squadron decal was hand-drawn by a friend and printed by VictoryGirl.com
  • Sharks teeth are hand painted by an artist at my office.
  • Headset is a David Clark H10-13X (highly reccomended for Rotax drivers)
  • Fuel selector is a FS20X4M with duel fuel filters and duel gascolators.

Great job on that paint scheme! Looks like you did a terrific job and were very innovative with some of the things you've done like those seats.
