Literally, the box arrived on Thursday. I called the FSDO on Friday. The local inspector said he didn't know anything about homebuilts, but that I might try going to an EAA meeting. I went to a Saturday morning FAA safety talk, found out I could start building right away, and I had this much done by 5:00 PM Saturday!
