Switch to an EarthX Lithium battery. Mine is 2lbs and is mounted on the firewall. Keeps the heavy cable short too! Check out my first start here too see how fast it spins the engine. I still have the original heavy starter on too! Will be switching to a light weight one before I fly!

Awesome job on the braided lines. I regret using the plastic ones included in the kit, BUT I'm putting amphibs on in the near future and will switch them out then!
