That is correct on the size. Thay are coped to the tube and welded in place.

What are the dimensions on the hoist fittings on the top of the cabin frame?
I'm guessing about 3.5 inches tall, 1.5" wide (same diameter as the spar carry through) and 0.125 thick.
No the cabin frame is 4130.
