Decided to add a service shutoff to each main wing tank. No elegant way to do it, but this will do the trick. I have 1/2" fuel feed to the header tank and 1/2" return/vapor from the header tank, reducing down to 3/8" line going back to the main tank. Saved me the work involved with a retrofit of the line to 1/2"(another access panel in the bottom wing skin and additional connection in the wing cavity)... if need be, I can do so at a later date. The George Race access panel makes this area accessible for connections and inspection...highly recommend, it's worth the effort of putting in the panel.
