Employees of the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) held a "launch party" today, starting to build a STOL CH 750 kit plane at EAA's Kermit Weeks Hangar at Oshkosh. Pictured are three rudders (and binders) that the group completed today: http://bit.ly/VYHGEl

I guess I messed up on my 750 ... I only installed one rudder, not three! LOL!

Rudder workshops are the best thing to get people to understand aircraft construction and that they can actually build an airplane! I'm really glad to see EAA make sure their staff know and understand home building. Next, they should make a fiberglass part, then a wood part (besides the ubiquitous wood rib) then cover and dope some fabric. I applaud Zenith in helping EAA understand their members!
