Attaching Cabin Cage to Firewall and Engine Mount 2

Looking aft from front of firewall. The upper center tab is slightly above the top rivet line on the firewall center reinforcement channel. The holes were first laid out on the firewall per the plans then transferred to the tab on the engine mount. The bolt mounting tab on the cabin frame was checked to be sure it was in proper position to assure proper bolt hole clearance from tab edges and weld joint. The engine mount was drilled on the bench. The cabin frame tab was clamped to the firewall and drilled in position.
