Hi John - this strip is only 8 km from our home field but has taken untill now to land on it as it's usually got stock on it and when i flew over on saturday i did not see the cattle in the scrub off to the low side of the strip, therefore got a shock when they run in front of me. this strip is at 1800 ft and mt dobson in background is 6800 ft. still this is a very smooth strip and i will come back soon. we have another 18 or so strips within ten miles so will visit them as time allows.

not a very good photo taken while landing on Busters strip opposite the access road to mt Dobson ski field (mt Dobson directly behind prop blade). about two seconds after this photo a heard of bulls run across the strip in front of me, that made my ring pucker.
