"Man at sea" is a movie about a couple Alex(Antonis Karistinos) and Katia(Theodora Tzima). Alex is the captain of big tanker and Katia is his wife.They were long seperated after the death of their son and they will try to give a second chance to their marriage inside that ship "Lucky Lady" (real name is Scotish Bard).Things get complicated when the captain decides to collect 30 castaway immigrants somewhele along the route of the ship,against the instructions given from his bosses. The CH701 is used to pickup Katia in mid ocean when things get out of control onboard the ship.What is very interesting about this film is that this ship really never leaves harbor and all the flying scenes are shot inside the harbor of Drapetsona Greece in a VERY CONFINED AREA in front of the ship .We had to operate the Zenair between cranes antennas and all kinds of obstacles inside that harbor, and finally had to pick up Katia in front of the ship in a water zone of about 300 meters.It was very fan,It could not be done with a different airplane.
