Hi Kurt,
Well,rivets are faster to install, easy to punch out, and faster to replace... Rivnuts are OK also but a pain in the butt to install. Once done though, done for life. Good choice.
Wise to install those VGs BEFORE flying your plane ! They make a HUGE difference !
