Floats off
Sky Turtle transitioned back to conventional landing gear last Friday. Feels like a flying rocketship with 50 degree weather, half tanks of gas and no amphibs hanging underneath. Sadly, only a temporary sensation ;)

Not my hangar, belongs to one of the forest rangers who works out the airport. He gets $50 for the use of the hoist (twice a year from me!) and he rents out space for a couple aircraft, jeep projects, floats, etc.
