I have to admit I'm seeing a high-wing advantage here: You can take off and land without ever moving your tent.

Enjoyed meeting you, too, Sam! Weren't the folks at Homebuilt Camping wonderful? It was really a great experience. We had really good weather going home Friday - had slight headwind at times but still managed about 82 kts on average. Have fun "Slatless!"

John; It was great to meet you at Sun N Fun!  I hope your trip back went well. I fought WX every leg it seemed. That is one fine looking 750 you have. My slats come off and the VGs go on this weekend.

I forgot, that's right. The pilot in the Gulf Stream gave her a private tour and when she got out and got in John's the first thing she said was "I'd rather be in your plane".

Walt - you didn't tell the best part ... Kelli said she much preferred the STOL 750 to the bizjet sitting across from us on the ramp!

... and I'll have you to know that lime green shirt is an "official" Sun 'n Fun t-shirt!  Those folks in Florida definitely have good taste when it comes to color! Ha!

My daughter Kelli flying with the steely eyed pilot John Austin several weeks ago. She's laughing because he confirmed he also has lime green shirts and underwear to match his plane.

Kelli giving John his check ride which allows him to carry other pilot's daughters. Tougher than a CFII check ride. He passed with flying colors.
