Frank, having lots of fun here in Northern Illinois on my Datum skis on my STOL 701. With our last snow of close to 20 inches not centimeters the Datums stay right on top. Drifts are a challenge. I have my front strut elevated by about 2" which helps to keep the prop (Wrap/nickel edge) out of the snow. Have fun, your plane looks Great, watch out for the drifts.
