The friction fix ended up being a piece of phenolic ( and lots of grease ) underneath the nose strut cap. For the lower bearing I first replaced the nylon with a new, tighter piece and then machined down the v-notched angles so the nose strut is not resting on them in straight flight but does touch when you use a significant amount of rudder.

Hi you mentioned something about a rudder fix, lower nose gear strut bearing and friction reduction. Can you tell anything more? (sorry, did not have time to start searching the site)

The landing lights are offroading PIAA fog lamps. Airplanes need airplan parts, Sky Jeeps need Jeep parts.
