Note:  the little mount that comes with the unit is made of high grade spring steel and we could not drill even with titanium bits in a drill press.   Hence I made the little bracket shown in green out of scrap 6061 which fits over the factory mount.

Hi Mack.    I bought the fuel filter from Aircraft Spruce PN 05-01699.     One of the few fuel filters I could find that had AN6 fittings compatible with 3/8" flared ends but when it arrived I was very impressed with gizzards as well.   I like the fact that I can remove, inspect and clean very easily.

Not sure why but most fuel filters seem to be fitted with hose barbs rather than AN fittings or threaded inlets and outlets. 

 

Make sure you are sitting down before checking price.
