I wish I could help on this but I have no experience in installing header tank but i'm sure some builders will have useful information for you..
As for me, I would only be concerned with fuel in the cabin. But I'm not sure if that's a real threat .
Just my opinion.
I'm going to install a UL260i in my 701 and will need a header tank due to the fuel injection (I don't want to run lines back to the wings). It may be that weight and balance will determine the location, but I'd like to hear informed reasons and opinions: Behind seats, Behind firewall, In front of firewall?
