Hello Kurt. I am glad I could help. Sometimes you need some ideas too help you with the building. I can assure you that all my decisions are not mine. The Zenith page and all the members ideas have helped me through my two projects.

Thanks Johann.  I was certainly being more esoteric for my search.  I didn't even think of Aircraft Spruce.  I've been diagramming layouts and yours was a big help in the placement of things.

I really like your panel layout.  I will use the iPad Air and the Viking View EIS.  I'm old-school and like the "steam gages" as well.  Can you point me to the name/source of your iPad mount?  I see a really nice, almost flat one, but found that it was magnetic and would probably play havoc with the compass ...
